Blessed Countenance & Radiant Face
صِفَةُ وَجْهِهِ الشَّرِيفِ وَنُورِهِ
The radiant beauty of his face, described as brighter than the full moon, combining awe and approachable warmth.
كَانَ وَجْهُهُ مِثْلَ الشَّمْسِ وَالقَمَرِ وَكَانَ مُسْتَدِيرًا
Blessed Smile & Gentle Mien
صِفَةُ ضَحِكِهِ وَتَبَسُّمِهِ ﷺ
His constant joyful disposition, smiling upon every companion, never laughing boisterously but illuminating hearts.
مَا رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ إِلَّا تَبَسَّمَ فِي وَجْهِي
Noble Speech & Jawami' al-Kalim
صِفَةُ كَلَامِهِ وَفَصَاحَتِهِ ﷺ
Granted Jawami' al-Kalim (profound conciseness), speaking with crystal clarity such that every listener understood.
بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الكَلِم
Sublime Humility (Tawadu')
تَوَاضُعُهُ الشَّرِيفُ وَعُبُودِيَّتُهُ ﷺ
Riding a donkey, eating on the ground, sitting among the poor without distinction, and serving his family at home.
إِنَّمَا أَنَا عَبْدٌ آكُلُ كَمَا يَأْكُلُ العَبْدُ وَأَجْلِسُ كَمَا يَجْلِسُ العَبْد
Universal Mercy (Rahmah lil-Alamin)
رَحْمَتُهُ بِالخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِين
Mercy encompassing companions, opponents, women, orphans, animals, and the natural environment.
إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَحْمَةٌ مُهْدَاة
Worship & The Night Vigil (Qiyam al-Layl)
عِبَادَتُهُ وَقِيَامُ اللَّيْلِ ﷺ
Standing in prayer until his blessed feet swelled, weeping out of pure gratitude to Allah.
أَفَلَا أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا
Blessed Dress, Turban, & Love for Fragrance
لِبَاسُهُ وَطِيبُهُ وَسَمْتُهُ الشَّرِيف ﷺ
Wearing clean, dignified garments, white and green robes, a black or white turban, and loving pure fragrance (Itr).
حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ، وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاة
Gentleness with Children & Family
مُعَامَلَتُهُ لِلأَهْلِ وَالأَطْفَال ﷺ
Carrying his grandchildren on his back during prayer, playing with children in the streets, and being the best to his wives.
خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي
