إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ
English Translation:
“Actions are but by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended. So whoever migrated for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, his migration is for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever migrated for worldly gain or to marry a woman, his migration is for what he migrated to.”
اردو ترجمہ:
اعمال کا دارومدار نیتوں پر ہے اور ہر انسان کے لیے وہی ہے جس کی اس نے نیت کی۔ پس جس کی ہجرت اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے لیے ہو اس کی ہجرت اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے لیے سمجھی جائے گی۔
Imam al-Shafi'i and Imam Ahmad stated that this single Hadith constitutes one-third of all Islamic knowledge.
لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
English Translation:
“None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his parent, his child, and all of mankind.”
اردو ترجمہ:
تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس وقت تک کامل مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ میں اس کے نزدیک اس کے والدین، اس کی اولاد اور تمام انسانوں سے زیادہ محبوب نہ ہو جاؤں۔
Scholars emphasize that loving the Prophet ﷺ requires conscious adherence to his guidance and prioritizing his Sunnah over personal inclinations.
الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ
English Translation:
“The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One in the heavens will be merciful to you.”
اردو ترجمہ:
رحم کرنے والوں پر رحمن رحم فرماتا ہے۔ تم زمین والوں پر رحم کرو، آسمان والا تم پر رحم فرمائے گا۔
Known traditionally as Hadith al-Musalsal bil-Awwaliyyah, the first Hadith scholars traditionally transmit to students.
مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَثْقَلُ فِي مِيزَانِ المُؤْمِنِ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ مِنْ حُسْنِ الخُلُقِ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُبْغِضُ الفَاحِشَ البَذِيءَ
English Translation:
“There is nothing heavier on the scale of a believer on the Day of Resurrection than good character. Indeed, Allah dislikes the foul-mouthed and abusive.”
اردو ترجمہ:
قیامت کے دن مومن کے پلڑے میں حسن اخلاق سے زیادہ وزنی کوئی چیز نہیں ہوگی، اور بیشک اللہ تعالی بے حیا اور بدزبان شخص سے سخت ناراض ہوتا ہے۔

مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الجَنَّةِ
English Translation:
“Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”
اردو ترجمہ:
جو شخص علم کی تلاش میں کسی راستے پر چلتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی وجہ سے اس کے لیے جنت کا راستہ آسان فرما دیتا ہے۔

طَلَبُ العِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
English Translation:
“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim (male and female).”
اردو ترجمہ:
علم حاصل کرنا ہر مسلمان (مرد اور عورت) پر فرض ہے۔
Encompasses essential theological, ethical, and practical religious obligations for all individuals.
لَا تُطْرُونِي كَمَا أَطْرَتِ النَّصَارَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ، فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا عَبْدُهُ، فَقُولُوا: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ
English Translation:
“Do not exceed bounds in praising me as the Christians exceeded bounds regarding the son of Mary; for I am only His servant. So say: The Servant of Allah and His Messenger.”
اردو ترجمہ:
میری حد سے زیادہ تعریف نہ کرو جیسا کہ عیسائیوں نے عیسیٰ ابن مریم کی کی، میں تو صرف اللہ کا بندہ ہوں، پس کہو: اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول۔
Affirms pure Tawhid while honoring the Prophet's supreme rank as the Servant and Messenger of Allah.
