Cave Hira (Ghar Hira) • Mount Al-Nur
approx. 4 km northeast of the Ka'bah, Makkah
The sacred sanctuary of contemplation where the first verses of the Holy Quran descended upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
- Seclusion and worship (Tahannuth) before Prophethood.
- The descent of Archangel Jibril with 'Iqra!' in Ramadan 610 CE.

Cave Thawr (Ghar Thawr)
approx. 5 km south of Makkah
The refuge where the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq sheltered for three nights during the perilous Hijrah.

Masjid Quba

The very first mosque built in Islam, founded on piety (Taqwa).

Mount Uhud
