Noble Speech & Jawami' al-Kalim
صِفَةُ كَلَامِهِ وَفَصَاحَتِهِ ﷺ
Classical Shama'il Narration
Sayyidah Aisha رضي الله عنها described his manner of speech: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not speak rapidly and continuously as you do; rather, he spoke clear, distinct words such that anyone sitting with him could count them if they wished.' When he delivered an important teaching, he would repeat it three times so that it was fully comprehended and preserved. He never used foul language, never raised his voice in anger in marketplaces, and always spoke with the purest, most eloquent Arabic of the Quraysh and Banu Sa'd.
