Diplomatic Letters to Emperors & Kings
رَسَائِلُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَى المُلُوكِ وَالأُمَرَاء
Historical & Scholarly Account
With the peace of Hudaybiyyah secured, the Prophet ﷺ expanded the Da'wah globally, confirming Islam as a universal guidance for all humankind. He had a silver signet ring engraved with: **مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ الله** (Muhammad Rasul Allah) and dispatched emissaries with personalized, respectful letters to the rulers of the world: Heraclius (Emperor of Byzantine Rome), Chosroes II (King of Persian Empire), Al-Muqawqis (Ruler of Egypt), Al-Najashi (King of Abyssinia), and the Kings of Oman and Bahrain. Heraclius questioned Abu Sufyan and acknowledged Muhammad's prophetic signs. Chosroes arrogantly tore the letter, upon which the Prophet ﷺ predicted the tearing of his empire.
