The Prophet ﷺ drafted the revolutionary **Constitution of Madinah** (Sahifat al-Madinah), uniting Muslims (Muhajirun and Ansar), the various Jewish tribes (Banu Qaynuqa, Banu Nadir, Banu Qurayzah), and pagan clans into a single civic commonwealth (*Ummah Wahidah* in civil affairs). The charter guaranteed: total freedom of religion ('The Jews have their religion and the Muslims have theirs'), equal protection under the law, prohibition of tribal blood feuds, collaborative funding of mutual defense against external aggression, and independent judicial dispute resolution under the leadership of Rasulullah ﷺ.
